Reggie Fils-Aimé joins Rogue Games as strategic advisor
Former Nintendo of America president to advise mobile publisher as it expands to console and PC
Former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé has been appointed as strategic advisor to the board of directors at LA-based publisher Rogue Games.
In his role, Fils-Aimé will advise the Rogue Games board of directors including Matt Casamassina, Dmitry Grishin, Andre Bliznyuk, and Chris Carvalho, as the publisher begins to expand its offerings to console and PC.
Fils-Aimé retired from Nintendo in February of last year, and has since taken on a number of speaking and other advisory roles, including being appointed to the boards of both the New York Videogame Critics Circle and GameStop.
"When Rogue shared its console vision with me and I saw the first games that will be arriving this summer on platforms like Nintendo Switch, I was immediately impressed by the levels of ambition and innovation," said Fils-Aimé.
"I'm always on the lookout for fast-growing and innovative companies that are ready to shape the future of games and I'm excited to join Rogue in their mission to unite and simplify games publishing across all platforms."
Rogue Games recently completed a $1.25 million financing round in March and another $2 million in May to expand its publishing business.
It also ended publishing support for Super Evil Megacorp's Vainglory back in April.
