redspotgames project

Voice actors lined up for mystery game.

After the announcement of a new project that will be revealed within 2 weeks, the Munich-based company redspotgames has released further information about this title.

According to statements, the project will test wide-ranging possibilities for both the industry and the title's chosen platform, which has never before featured a project of such quality and scope, and is sure to be closely watched by other developers and publishers. Should the title be successful on this system, it may usher a in new wave of quality on the platform in general. Indeed, the platform was chosen specifically to test its possibilities - and stretch its limits.

Additionally, redspotgames has disclosed that they are not only appearing as the publisher and promoter of the project, but also are involved into the development process. This is a logical step for redspotgames, who intend to increase their involvement in all future projects. They already influenced the development of the predecessor product "Rush Rush Rally Racing" by Senile Team with bug fix tests and suggestions.

The next production step of the current title are the voice recording sessions that redspotgames will coordinate, book and supervise. Aside from the previously-announced "synchronization work for everyone" on July 25th, to which fans of the company are invited to give their voices to non-player characters, redspotgames has also hired major voice actors to lend their talents to the project.

Talent includes David Michael Williamson, an internationally-known media consultant, writer, film and voice actor since the 90s who has participated in the following productions:

2010 - "Victory Day" (by Sean Ramsay)

2010 - "Södner-X 2: Final Prototype" (voice)

2009 - "Ceasefire" (as Press Officer)

2001 - "I was the King of Porn... The Adventurous Life of Lasse Braun" (as Narrator)

2000 - "Ring of Fire" (voice)

1995 - "Nur über meine Leiche" a.k.a. "Over my dead body" (as Death)

1985 - "Voice of America"

Voiceover work for a dozen companies such as Microsoft, Siemens, Virgin, Universal Studios, Discovery Channel, BMW, Allianz, et al.

For the German version, redspotgames has announced Willi Röbke, who has given dozens of famous international productions their German voice:

1989 - "The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!" (as "King Koopa")

1989 until today - "The Simpsons" (as "Rainier Wolfcastle" and "Fat Tony")

1995 - "Earthworm Jim" (as "Psy-Crow")

1999 until today - "One Piece" (as "Morgan")

2001 until 2005 - "Star Trek: Enterprise" (as "Damrus")
