Redbedlam/Tiga deal

Roma Victor developer joins trade body.

October 30th 2008

Redbedlam has joined Tiga as one of the UK's few specialist Virtual World developers.

Kerry Fraser-Robinson, RedBedlam's President and Founder, said:

“It's about time we put ourselves at the heart of the UK's development community. Tiga has done a great job of putting UK developers on the map and I believe that we will benefit from the membership services and political representation they make on our behalf.”

Fred Hasson, ex-Tiga CEO and founder, recently joined RedBedlam as Executive Director.

Fraser-Robinson added:

“We have been encouraged by Fred Hasson to support Tiga, the industry body that has done so much to draw attention to the creative force of UK developers. We thoroughly believe we will be able to do justice to that reputation through our endeavours to become a leading MMOG and Virtual World developer.”

Richard Wilson, CEO of Tiga, said:

“Tiga's vision is to make the UK the best place in the world to do games business. To that end we are improving the effectiveness of our political campaigning, raising the profile of the games industry in the media and developing new services for Tiga members. I am delighted that RedBedlam has joined Tiga and that they support our new strategy. I look forward to working with RedBedlam over the coming months.”
