Reboot Develop closes speaker line-up with Paradox, Housemarque, IGDA head
GamesIndustry.biz will host exclusive live streams of the best talks from this year's event
Reboot Develop has finalised the speakers for its 2018 show, adding Paradox Interactive's Fred Wester, IGDA head Jen McLean, and Housemarque's Ilari Kuittinen to the line-up.
All three have been in the headlines recently: Wester for his decision to step down as CEO of Paradox, making way for Ebba Ljungerud; McLean in a recent interview with GamesIndustry.biz, in which she discussed issues around unionisation; and Kuittinen for Housemarque's decision to leave the shoot-em up genre following disappointing sales of Nex Machina.
Other new speakers for the Dubrovnik-based conference include Funomena CEO Robin Hunicke, Splash Damage CEO Paul Wedgwood, and Funcom CEO Rui Manuel Monteiro Casais. The full and final speaker line-up can be found on the Reboot Develop website.
