RealNetworks has announced its latest set of financial results for the third financial quarter of 2007 with record revenues of USD 145.1 million.
That represents a 55 per cent increase over the same period last year, made up of growth in the games, music and technology products segments of the business.
Games revenue was up 28 per cent to USD 28.8 million, music revenue jumped 24 per cent to 37.7 million, while technology products and solutions was up 377 per cent to USD 53.3 million, thanks largely to the acquisition of WiderThan in late 2006.
The company now predicts full year revenue to hit between USD 563 million and USD 568 million and expects its recent partnership with MTV Networks on the Rhapsody America project to grow the business further.
