Ready, Steady - It's All Go For Mario Kart As A Nintendo DS Bundle Roars Into Play
3rd November 2005 - Nintendo is celebrating the launch of its eagerly anticipated Mario Kart DS game with an exclusive Nintendo DS bundle, launching on 25th November 2005. Not only will new owners be able to get their hands on a Nintendo DS console and game in one handy pack, but they will get them both for the great value estimated retail price of just £100. The Mario Kart DS Pak is the perfect package for Christmas, and following on from the massive success of the Nintendogs Blue and Pink Nintendo DS bundles, it is sure to be a hit on the high street. Mario Kart first launched on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and since then, with games having launched for Nintendo 64, Game Boy Advance and Nintendo GameCube, Mario Kart has become a phenomenon with gamers and Nintendo fans alike. By the end of March 2005, almost 30 million Mario Kart games had been sold worldwide.
The latest incarnation in the hugely popular series is also the first Nintendo DS game to offer online play, allowing you to race anyone, anywhere, anytime for free. The Mario Kart Pak (including a copy of Mario Kart DS and a silver Nintendo DS) launches on November 25th 2005 at the fantastic estimated retail price of around £100. Mario Kart DS launches on the same day at the estimated retail price of £30.
Also launching on November 25th 2005 is the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector which will enable players who have Broadband at home to join in the Wi-Fi fun. The Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector will be priced at around £30.
