Rappelz is a free MMORPG that takes place a dark and fantastic world, and is published in Europe by Gala Networks Europe through the www.gpotato.eu gaming portal. Launched in February 2008 in German and French, Rappelz has set itself apart from competitors by offering even more entertainment, events and competitions to our vibrant and growing community of players. To accommodate the growing number of French players, a 7th European server named Cerberus opens its doors today.

The epic battles and fantastic creatures that populate the world of Rappelz over the past year have contributed to the success of this free MMORPG in Europe. The arrival of the Epic V extension last summer offered the players brand new content via the new Bear Dungeon instance and the introduction of mythical creatures such as Kerberos and the White Dragon. With the most recent update, Epic V part 2 which was released in October, Rappelz continues this trend by bringing lots of new innovations, the emergence of a new creature, the Carbuncle, and much more content with the implementation of new objects that grant different bonuses to players.

The gPotato team had our community involved before creating this new server, and allowed players to vote for their favorite name. The name Cerberus refers to one of the rarest and most sought after creatures in the world of Rappelz: the powerful three-headed Cerberus. Celebrations are also planned to celebrate the opening of the 7th European server: Cerberus players will receive an experience a bonus of 150% for the first week, and players across all servers are more likely to collect quality items from monsters during this time.

At the same time, to celebrate the first player who reaches the 150 level on the server Kentauros, all players of this server will experience a bonus of 150% during the same week. And since good news never comes alone, new updated content is being prepared and should arrive very soon.
