Just when you thought you were getting good at it, Polarbit opens up the competition in its top selling mobile racer, Raging Thunder 2. Polarbit today announced the latest update available for Raging Thunder 2. The upgrade features online leaderboards and touch controls for the iPhone, iTouch, iPad and Android.
In addition to competing directly against other players in online races, users will now be able to compete with racers globally through the use of global, online high score lists. With the upgrade, users can upload their best times and achievements (longest jump, highest speed) for each track to online leaderboards and view them by week, month, or all-time. Racers will also be able to virtually challenge their competition with the new ability to download ghost races from the leaderboards. Like the game itself, the leaderboards were designed in a cross-platform format so that competition can continue between iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android users. The latest Raging Thunder 2 also allows users to customize their driving experience for more control of the car using the touchscreen instead of the motion sensors (adjustable in game options).
Regularly priced at $4.99, you can purchase Raging Thunder 2 from the iTunes App Store for the next two weeks at a discounted price of $2.99. Download the game for iPhone and iPod Touch here: http://itunes.com/apps/ragingthunder2, and iPad here:
