Quazal/Trinigy deal

Online tech incorporated into Vision Engine.

Montreal, Canada / Eningen, Germany (July 2nd, 2008) – Quazal, makers of the award-winning Net-Z, Rendez-Vous and Spark! online multiplayer middleware, alongside Trinigy, makers of the Vision Engine, announce today that they have partnered to integrate Quazal’s online technologies with Vision 7.

With over 75 licensed titles, Trinigy’s Vision Engine is rapidly gaining favour far beyond its European roots, thanks to an excellent scene editor, high-performance multi-platform support and very reasonable licensing fees. With dozens of shipped titles, and dozens more in development, Quazal’s in-game and lobby/matchmaking technologies and services are rapidly becoming the developer’s choice for top-quality games.

“Often, our partners would ask us about online play, and because it wasn’t our focus, we didn’t have much guidance for them, which left them a lot of effort to search for a solid solution,” states Felix Roeken, General Manager at Trinigy. “With Quazal’s technologies available pre-integrated into Vision, it provides an easy solution for our developers, and something they can start with right away.”

“The team at Trinigy is great, and we’ve had a solid relationship with them for several years now,” said Mike Drummelsmith, Developer Relations Manager at Quazal. “We already have several joint customers, so this just makes it much easier for other companies to check out both technologies working together.”

Quazal’s Net-Z technology is available for evaluation on all consoles, PC and Mac. To learn more about Quazal’s technology and service offerings, please visit www.quazal.com, or contact info@quazal.com. The Vision Engine is currently available for evaluation on PC, Xbox 360™ and Playstation®3. For information on licensing from Trinigy, contact Richard Radmacher at sales@trinigy.net.
