Punch Entertainment adopts Tira Jump technology

Tira gains another deal for its proprietary technology suite

Having recently implemented a range of additional features and improved functionality to its Jump Product Suite, Tira Wireless has announced a new licensing deal with mobile games developer Punch Entertainment.

The Tira Jump Product Suite has been licensed by a growing number of top-tier content providers, enabling fast deployment of products across hundreds of different handsets; adapting to specific mobile operator requirements in multiple languages.

Tobin Lent, CEO of Punch Entertainment said: "As a rule, developers don't have easy access to detailed device information and operator requirements. Tira Jump provides the knowledge needed to bridge the gap and let developers quickly adapt content to speed time to market, while enabling greater quality control over the process."

Producing both original and licensed product for companies including THQ, Punch Entertainment has developed over fifty mobile applications, including THQ's NBA 3 Point Shootout, which was awarded the IGN Editor's choice award and scored an impressive 9/10 from GameDaily. THQ Wireless recently announced that its entire mobile product suit would be deployed using the Jump Suite technology.

Using a variety of international distribution channels, Punch Entertainment develops and deploys games for a vast selection of mobile devices, and is confident its products can reach a wider audience with greater ease thanks to the new licensing deal.

Gord Wade, VP Business Development at Tira Wireless stated: "Punch is a leading mobile games studio that is well respected for its creation of award-winning mobile content. In using Tira Jump, Punch can further enhance its deployment process while ensuring it meets the high quality standards of leading publishers and mobile operators from around the world."
