Publishing And Distribution Network Emerges

London, United Kingdom - July 19th, 2006 - Lexicon Entertainment, a new publishing and distribution division, has emerged to assist game publishers and developers in placing products into retail for smaller territories. Lexicon officially started trading a few months ago and already has 4 publishers on their books.
On top of this Lexicon will also be publishing their own products with an announcement for 2 products due in the next couple of weeks. Also on the agenda for Lexicon is the move into the UMD market which distribution for the UK and rest of the world is already tied up through Blackhorse Entertainment, again an announcement is due soon on the titles that will be released.
"At Lexicon, our mandate is to help assist other publishers move into small territories such as South Africa, Iceland, Cyprus, Greece, India, Baltic's and Turkey. Many publishers don't feel that the work involved for the small amount of units is worth the manpower; Lexicon will do the negotiations, contracts and ensure the best possible deal for the publisher or developer" said Stephen Bailey, Export Manager for Lexicon.
"We have some exciting announcements in the next 2 weeks on both the publishing and distribution side, and we are looking to strengthen our portfolio in the upcoming months speaking with a variety of publishers and developers about possible distribution" Bailey was quoted.
Backed by a private investor, Lexicon is hoping to have 30 products on their books by 2007 and published 4 products themselves worldwide where they are at present speaking with 2 US publishers about possible deals.
