PT Boats: Knights of the Sea
Developer diary blog updated.
November, 20, 2009
Battlefront.com, an independent internet-based publisher for superior war and strategy games and one of the internets largest wargaming communities, and Akella, one of Eastern Europe’s leading development and publishing houses, have just posted the second part in the dedicated Developer Diary blog for their upcoming “PT Boats: Knights of the Sea” naval simulation!
This second entry in the Diary touches upon some of the aspects that players ask most often about: detailed ship damage modeling. PT Boats tracks damage from hits from different types of weapons as well as from object collisions, features distinct damage zones as well as internal damage effects, and also includes a repair management tool with which players can order their pixel sailors to focus on specific areas on board for repairs.
