psai ® , Periscope Studio Hamburg’s unique interactive audio middleware for videogames, is quickly generating interest from the videogame development community. For example, if a game level requires a re-design usually every element is affected; including music. This means that a composer needs to revise the music score in-game to accommodate the changes. But - because psai ® has an intelligence and an advanced logic-based system - with psai ® CORE middleware installed and controlling the music, whatever changes are made to the game, the overall audio component is completely unaffected”.
In addition to the middleware’s advantage in production workflow, is psai ® ’s simple implementation. psai ® CORE middleware provides a unique gaming experience for every player, but this is a new direction for audio in videogames, and therefore developers.
