Project Gotham Racing 4 dated by Peugeot

Microsoft will release Project Gotham Racing 4 on Xbox 360 towards the end of 2007 or in the first half of 2008, according to car manufacturer Peugeot.

The leaked release date of Bizarre Creations' genre-leading racer comes via a competition calling for entries to design a concept car for the company.

âThe winning concept car will be included by Microsoft in the Project Gotham Racing 4 game, exclusively on Xbox 360 that will be released towards the end of 2007 or first half of 2008,â reads the competition on the Peugeot website.

Project Gotham Racing 3 was a launch title for Xbox 360 and has benefited from developer Bizarre Creationsâ heavy support of downloadable content and through Microsoftâs âGame with Fameâ promotion.

Neither Microsoft nor Bizarre Creations has revealed any official details of the fourth title in the popular racing series.

The developer is currently collaborating with Sega on the next-generation franchise, The Club, a first-person shooter due in 2007.
