Project Blackout
World Online Gaming League host exhibition map in online FPS.
IRVINE, Calif. - March 25, 2011
SG Interactive, developer and publisher of several popular free-to-play games, today announced that new game content, an in-game event, and an exhibition match hosted by The World Online Gaming League “WOGL,” are all coming to online FPS Project Blackout . The WOGL match comes hot on the heels of a tournament showdown between SG Interactive Game Masters and representatives from Raptr. As with that competition, the WOGL exhibition match will be broadcast live so fans everywhere can catch all the gunslinging action, along with an interview with Game Master Loki. The exhibition will take place at 5pm PST today and can be viewed at WOGL.TV.
Fans who tune into the exhibition match may notice new game content on display, including the dreaded FAMAS and M4 lines of assault rifles which are now available in-game. Those wanting to get in on the action are welcome to take part in Operation Slaughter, an event open now and running until April 6 which will reward players points for both kills and minutes played during the event. Qualifying players will be entered into a raffle with the chance to win an iPad 2, an Alienware laptop, or one of 10 permanent special in-game weapons.
