Pride of Nations
Developer diary launched for AGEOD's 19th century strategy number.
NEW YORK – October 5th, 2010 – Paradox Interactive and AGEOD announced today the launch of the first developer diary for Pride of Nations, as well as the release of 10 brand new screenshots.
The developer diary will be an ongoing feature published bi-weekly on the Paradox forum.
Pride of Nations is a turn-based historical strategy game set in the colonial era of the 19th century, where the player takes control of a country and guides it through industrialization, military conquest, and colonization.
“The game is all about obtaining the most envied status of Great Power (‘The place under the sun’ position) and achieving the first rank among those in the game. To do so, you must earn Prestige. It comes in the form of economic performance, military might, diplomatic aura, colonial empires, technological progress, social advances, balance at home, and overall world power.” says Philippe Thibaut, game designer for Pride of Nations.
