Endicott, New York – April 28th, 2008 - Blitwise Productions is pleased to announce the release of Pocket Tanks for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Pocket Tanks has long been a favorite downloadable game on the Windows and Mac platforms, and now is available in handheld form.
Pocket Tanks is the fast-paced artillery game that is simple to learn, and fun to master. Players arm themselves from the Shop before battle, then experience the thrill of launching volley after volley of powerful and imaginative weapons across the battlefield. Select angle, power, and FIRE! There are many unique weapons including: Napalm, Firecrackers, Skippers, Cruisers, Tracers, Dirt Movers, and dozens more! This is the light-hearted game of heavy artillery for everyone.
Special features of the iPhone version include a new touch interface and large scrolling battlefields. The free version contains 35 exciting weapons that offer countless hours of entertainment with a friend or against the AI. The premium version, called Pocket Tanks Deluxe, has 70 additional weapons and will support downloadable weapons packs with an update this summer.
