Pocket God
With 800,000 copies shifted, iPhone diety sim gets a series of updates.
SAN FRANCISCO - April 30, 2009
Bolt Creative today announced a significant update for the blockbuster iPhone game Pocket God. After snapping up over 800,000 copies of the game since January, the vocal Pocket God fan base now has a new stomping ground with the introduction of a land mass that features a mysterious structure, some rugged terrain and an egg that may or may not spell doom for the islanders. This new island is the first part in a series of updates that will bring some serious story, turmoil, and in the end, redemption, for our favorite island inhabitants.
As one of the most frequently updated games in the iTunes App Store, this update provides even more almighty options as you decide the fate of your islanders. Will you be a malicious god? A benevolent god? Now you have more tools than ever to help decide their path.
“We’ve been floored by all the response from our fans and we’ve been listening,” said Dave Castelnuovo of Bolt Creative. “This update is really the first in a trilogy of updates designed to make Pocket God an even more robust experience.”
