Pocket God
"Update Song" released.
SAN FRANCISCO - Sept. 21, 2010
Bolt Creative today announced the latest Pygmy rock sensation sweeping the island—"The Pocket God Update Song." Inspired by the Pocket God community, this new track pays homage to the monumental number of requests for the next update in the best-selling series. Written and performed by Jonathan Mann, the artist behind "The iPhone Antenna Song" and the Song A Day series on YouTube, the song and video are sure to make Pocket God fans everywhere laugh and cry as they eagerly await the latest Pocket God episode.
Details about Pocket God update #34, Monkey See Monkey Chew, have also emerged. Keeping with the Ape trilogy, Bolt Creative’s “thank you” to Pocket God Comics publisher Ape Entertainment, Monkey See Monkey Chew adds monkeys to the island mix and gives the simian friends (or foes) an arsenal of bananas to torture the islanders with. Monkeys can also toss Pygmies around like beach balls or throw them over cliffs. A new skin called Dance Pack Too will be available for download at $0.99, allowing Pygmies to strut their stuff as they learn how to break dance, perform the Running Man, or show their cultural side with ballet moves.
