Pocket God
Now available on Verizon Wireless handsets via publishing deal with Capcom.
SAN FRANCISCO - September 9, 2010
Bolt Creative today announced that Pocket God is now available for Verizon Wireless customers through a publishing agreement with Capcom Mobile.
For those just arriving on the island, Pocket God is a humorous, sadistic, episodic app that allows users to control the lives of a group of energetic pygmy islanders. The huge success of Pocket God comes from a combination of endearing characters, unique art style and consistent updates.
“We’re excited to have Verizon Wireless and Capcom set up shop on the island,” said Bolt CEO Dave Castelnuovo. “We’re thrilled to offer the Pocket God experience to the largest audience of feature phone users in the country, and it’s great to have the backing of Capcom, one of the most respected publishers in the industry.”
Verizon Wireless customers can purchase and download Pocket God from the Media Store on their Verizon Wireless feature phones. Pocket God is available for a monthly subscription of $2.99 and a one time download for $6.99 on dozens of 3G Multimedia and simple feature phones from Verizon Wireless, including LG Chocolate ® TOUCH, and LG enV ® 3. Download charges vary and airtime or megabyte charges may apply when browsing, downloading and using certain applications.
