Pocket Gamer announces new editorial structure

Kath Brice appointed handheld editor of UK's leading portable gaming website

London, UK - 6th February 2008 - Steel Media, the UK's specialist mobile consumer technology publisher, has appointed Kath Brice as the handheld editor of leading portable gaming site, Pocket Gamer.

Kath joined Steel Media in 2007 as Mobile Reviews Editor, before becoming DS Editor. In her new role, Kath will continue her focus on all news, previews and reviews associated with Nintendo's handheld, but will increase her responsibility to oversee the Sony PSP format.

"Despite being something of a control freak, I am happy to relinquish the PSP section knowing it will be in very safe hands," said Pocket Gamer editor Joao Diniz Sanches, whose responsibility has to date also extended to running the site's PSP operation. "I look forward to seeing Kath taking Pocket Gamer's handheld components to new heights, while I am able to focus more fully on the plans we have for the site."

"We're delighted to see Kath expand her role within Pocket Gamer," added Chris James, Steel Media MD. "Since joining us she's proven herself a real asset to the team and this increased responsibility is testament to her editorial ability."
