Playlogic VP welcomes development agreement with SCEE

Rogier Smit, executive VP of Playlogic, has welcomed the firm's new agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe - which he describes as "the most successful company in this industry to date."

Rogier Smit, executive VP of Playlogic, has welcomed the firm's new agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe - which he describes as "the most successful company in this industry to date."

The new first-party development deal will see one of the in-house teams at Playlogic Game Factory, which is based in the Netherlands, working on an as yet undisclosed project.

Smit told GamesIndustry.biz the company is "very proud" to be working with Sony, adding: "Combining our development talent with SCEE's know-how we are certain to deliver a high quality product."

"High marks to our in-house team whom have worked very hard to get to this level."

Playlogic was established in 2002 and currently has around 75 employees. Titles already announced as currently in development include two Age of Pirates games, Xbox 360 title Diabolique - License to Sin, and Xyanide Resurrection for the PSP.
