Playlogic Announces Acquisition of "Aggression - Reign over Europe"
New RTS set to be in stores in Q1 2008
(New York, USA - Amsterdam, The Netherlands) November 21st, 2007 - Publisher Playlogic Entertainment, Inc. (OTCBB: PLGC) has acquired the Real Time Strategy game "Aggression - Reign over Europe" from Buka Entertainment. The planned release for this RTS with tactical elements is Q1 2008.
Aggression - Reign over Europe spans 4 decades, from 1910 until 1950, and offers players the chance to rewrite the darkest age in recent history where humankind suffered horribly. Players can change the outcome of both World Wars, start the Cold War and decide which country will come out on top to dominate Europe.
Choose your side - Germany, France, Russia or England - and become the most powerful force on the continent, using historical figures and equipment. Send your diplomats across Europe on the real time tactical map and pick your battles well. Then zoom in on the action and command your armies in detailed landscapes to conquer major cities and landmarks.
Aggression - Reign over Europe is developed by Lesta Studio and pushes the limits of real time strategy, thanks to its graphic engine which supports hundreds of detailed units in action at the same time and a full 3D scenario where every building is constructed in detail based on hundreds of polygons. Watch houses and objects explode using a sophisticated physics engine creating realistic effects.
Stefan Layer, VP of Marketing and Sales of Playlogic: "Aggression is a great game and another welcome addition to our portfolio. The historical setting combined with real time action and diplomatic strategies makes Aggression a must for fans of the genre, so I have no doubt it will perform very well."
Victoria Enns, Head of International Sales of Buka Entertainment: "With this deal we pass "Aggression - Reign over Europe" into the good hands. I believe that Playlogic will disclose the great potential of the title to the gaming world and ensure global success of the game."
Features:
- Play an extensive campaign that spans both the First and the Second World War as you choose to either replay or rewrite history.
- Fight your battles on the real time tactical maps and control your ever expanding empire on the strategic map where you control diplomacy, science and industry.
- Choose your own play style. Play as a diplomat and create profitable trade agreements with your allies, push science to gain a technological edge over your opponents or play as a war mongering general and use your military forces to take control over Europe.
