Player X opens Australian studio
New office will liase with Bejing location
Mobile media company Player X announced that it has opened up an Australian office in Sydney.
The company has also appointed an unnamed Australian mobile industry veteran to run the new office which will be responsible for running Player X's publishing and distribution business in Australia and New Zealand as well as liaising with the Chinese office.
"This year has seen Player X open up in South America and India, so opening in Sydney was a natural progression," said CEO Tony Pearce.
"We are seeing great numbers in Australia and New Zealand so it kicks off what should be a record-breaking 2008 for the company," said Tony Pearce, Player X CEO.
Player X raised USD 10 million second round funding in January, and has since been recognised as the fourth fastest-growing, VC-backed company in the UK.
The company now has offices in Sao Paolo, Orlando, Hamburg, and Lyon as well as the Beijing and Pune facilities.
