Pirates of the Caribbean

Gold-accruing battle game launched onto German social networks.

i-Jet Media published its own new game Pirates of the Caribbean in the larger German social networks.

Pirates of the Caribbean is built in the classic Mafia genre. Players acquire gold and ships, and fight with other players during naval battles. The game works successfully in many other networks, both in Russia and abroad. For instance, audience of Pirates of the Caribbean in the largest Brazilian social network Orkut has already exceeded 1 million users, and is still growing.

StudiVZ, MeinVZ, and SchuelerVZ are the more attended social networks in Germany (people from 14 to 39 years old). Basically, audience of StudiVZ, MeinVZ and SchuelerVZ consists of German, Austrian and Swiss students and graduates. Their aggregate monthly audience ecceeds 17 million users, and their websites also work in foreign languages such as French, Italian, Polish, Spanish, and English.

The launch of Russian games in such significant local European social networks is a great step forward in development of both countries. Thus, Russian developers get an opportunity to introduce their products to European users and become successful on this new market; European social networks can fill the market with game applications.

"In spite of maturity of the European Internet and the developed casual games industry, only a very few social networks provide their users with services of application and games. Even if such services exist, selection of applications is very limited. Cooperation with Russian game developers enables European social nteworks to settle this problem: our developers are closer to European mentality than many others, say Chinese ones. Besides, Russian developers are competent and capable of making high-quality products. For our part we offer assistance in developing API for networks which are ready to cooperate, and thus we enlarge their competetive advantages," comments Alexey Kostarev, General Producer, i-Jet Media.

i-Jet Media remains the only publisher of games Russian developers in Europe. The company translates partners' games into Spanish, German, English, Italian, Polish and other European languages, and render assistance in their promotion, localization, monetization. Moreover, i-Jet Media offers integration of games into 30 social networks all over the world at once.

High-level interest of Europe in Russian game products makes it possible to increase rates of integration into this market. Earlier, i-Jet Media announced a purpose to publish a dozen of games by various developers from spring to fall 2010. However, it is now likely to launch even more games.

i-Jet Media is an international social games distribution network. Its portfolio includes 70 games by various developers published in 30 social networks all over the world, and 60 million users. Nowadays, the company takes an active part in developing European and Asian markets, as well as mobile social games service.
