A new 3D browser-based MMORPG, rather than some sort of warez site.

Hamburg, January 20th 2009 – Leading European MMOG publisher gamigo AG is proud to announce Pirate Galaxy, a brand new 3D Browser-Sci-Fi MMORPG. Pirate Galaxy was produced by Splitscreen Studios in Hamburg and will mark a new era of browser games, with its high resolution 3D-graphics and a very atmospheric science fiction universe in which thousands of players fight in real-time.

Pirate Galaxy is the first next-generation browser-based online game, meaning it requires no download and can be played from any PC anywhere at any time. It impresses with a huge universe and outstanding 3D-graphics quality, which is unique for a browser-based title. In the game, the player takes the role of a daring starship pilot, exploring the galaxy and outlying planets, hunting for worthwhile crystals and artefacts and fighting with other players against malevolent alien species.
