Pioneer and Innovator Mr.Goodliving Scoops Best Mobile Game Award

For Immediate release:

Helsinki, Finland & London, UK - October 9th 2006 -- RealNetworks®, Inc.'s mobile games studio Mr.Goodliving scooped the award for Best Mobile Game at the prestigious Mobile Choice Consumer 2006 Awards in London on October 5th. A great evening and sparkling awards ceremony culminated when Turbo Camels: Circus Extreme came out on top.

"Cameltastic! as our brave Turbo Camels jockey Günther would have put it," said Sami Lahtinen, head of Mr.Goodliving Studio. "The Mobile Choice Awards are decided by the votes and opinions of the movers and shakers of our business, and thus makes it the top-honour for any mobile games company," Lahtinen continued. "This prestigious award provides further encouragement for us to continue our quest to design and develop the perfect mobile game. There's hope for original intellectual property after all!"

Mr.Goodliving has been creating high quality games for mobile handsets since 1999. In 2001 it became the first mobile games studio / publisher to have downloadable J2ME mobile games commercially available in Europe. In 2004 Mr.Goodliving made a major breakthrough in solving the problem of handset fragmentation, by developing the proprietary development platform EMERGE. This provides an innovative and simple solution to the problem of porting games, one of the biggest difficulties faced by mobile game studios. In May 2005 Mr.Goodliving became a fully owned subsidiary of RealNetworks®, Inc.

The Mr.Goodliving studio continues to create and publish games which push back the boundaries of mobile gaming. The award winning title, Turbo Camels: Circus Extreme, was released in 2006 and it's the second title in the Turbo Camels franchise. Stuart Dredge, Pocket Gamer, described it as "Bright, breezy and brilliant, Circus Extreme offers all you could ask of a mobile phone game." . The company recently also released Playman World Soccer and Playman Beach Volley 3D, as well as a number of non-proprietary licenses, such as Trivial Pursuit titles, Gorillaz Entertainment System and a number of casual titles popular on RealArcade.com, RealNetworks®, Inc. leading casual game service.
