Pellmell
Shooter launched via Community Games.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Los Angeles, CA, May 15, 2009 - New Indie Game Creator SorceryGames LLC, is pleased to announce Pellmell a new Shootemup for Community Games on Xbox360. Pellmell has just been launched and is available now (rated E - for everyone).
This is the second original game produced by New indie Game creators SorceryGames. This game continues Sorcerygame's commitment to high quality games that it started with "Aceball". Created as an arcade style game and allowing multiple people to play together, this game is packed with highlights and features not seen on many community games before it.
The artwork was created by an industry veteran with many unique games and styles under his belt. This game brought forth another thrilling look to his already astounding portfolio. With good feedback from the Xbox community noting its original gameplay and overall experience, some announced it is "Graphically this is one of the very best XNA games I've seen." or "Impressive! …one of the most polished and exciting games I've seen on the Community Games so far." and "This looks and feels like it could be one of the most polished games on CG!"
VoodooChief was quoted as saying "I need a real shootemup, not another dual-stick shooter". With these words he created Pellmell. Although Microsoft do not allow community games to use their Live achievements, SorceryGames went ahead and implemented their own. Along with many more features like a high-score table, 100 levels, player requested Progression saving and the Original Playfield Control "Play it at your pace" feature. Packaging these great features with original music and gameplay put the finishing touches to Pellmell.
We at SorceryGames are proud to announce the arrival of Pellmell to the Xbox live community game area. Check out the 8 minute trial of the game and see what all the hype is about. For only 400 MS points you can purchase this new standard in arcade style shootemups.
