Liquid releases raft of PC titles on budget label

March 16th 2005, Northamptonshire, UK: Liquid Games have now re-released a dozen of Oxygen Interactive's acclaimed PC titles including Echelon Wind Warriors, Earth: 2150, Darkened Skye and March! Offworld Recon.

The next evolution in futuristic flight combat, Echelon Wind Warriors delivers the fast-paced action demanded by today's game players and newcomers alike. Set in 2351, and playing as Jason "Wolf" Scott - a member of an elite fighting force - this first-person action game sees players flying a variety of futuristic aircraft through a number of new tension-filled missions over lush alien landscapes and towering cities.

Earth 2150: Lost Souls - the third title in the smash hit Earth 2150 series - sees the continuing conflict between three warring factions: the Eurasian Dynasty, the United Civilized States and the Lunar Corporation that have wreaked havoc across planet Earth. Not only has the Earth's orbit changed due to nuclear explosions close to the Antarctic but glaciers have melted, the seas have risen to critical levels and meteorite showers have left Earth partially buried. It is up to the player to take control of one of the three factions and save the 'lost souls' of the title that have been left behind on the devastated planet Earth.

Featuring Hollywood starlet, Linda Larkin (the voice of Princess Jasmine in the 1992 Disney film, Aladdin) as Skye of Lynlora, Darkened Skye is a real-time Action/Adventure game with universal appeal that weaves mythology, puzzle solving and a goodly amount of magic as Skye, a restless young

shepherdess does battle with evil and pits her wits against monsters galore across five different worlds. Boasting its own unique 3D graphics engine and featuring over two hours of cut scenes, Darkened Skye is a game of compelling gameplay and rich narrative that spans more than thirty levels.

Praised by television's Gamezville as "A game you just can't put down", the arcade-style shooter, March! Offworld Recon is set in 2087 and challenges the player (as the leader of a band of intrepid space marines) to solve numerous puzzles whilst battling against a plethora of enemy cyborgs (and

more) in order to discover what has befallen fellow humans on Mars. With a powerful graphics engine, March features realistic environments, spectacular 3D graphics and remarkable special effects. The critics hailed this game, "An

incredible feat of programming".

Other titles just out are: time-travelling heli-shooter, Red Shark; Perfect Ace Pro Tennis Tournament; the trade-sim, Spells of Gold and the horror adventure, Midnight Nowhere. Also hitting the shelves will be; Horde 2 The Citadel - a real time strategy title; Paradise Cracked, an RPG; the futuristic

aircraft sim, Echelon; and finally, the Ultimate Collection, which features billiards, snooker and pool.

All titles come with an SRP of just £3.99.
