Paramount searching for new games boss

Company seeks new exec to further self-publishing ambitions

Paramount is currently looking for a new executive to head up its games division as it takes its first steps into videogame publishing.

According to a report by Variety, senior vice president of interactive and mobile, Sandi Isaacs, is leaving the company after helping Paramount start self-publishing with casual and mobile games.

Paramount has recently released titles based on Iron Man and Saturday Night Fever for the iPhone, and has other brands such as Pretty in Pink, Clueless and Mean Girls in the pipeline with partner Legacy Interactive.

Paramount is expected to eventually move into the publishing of triple A software.
