PAN Vision Continues Baltic Expansion

PAN Vision, the leading games distributor/publisher in the Nordic countries, will expand its distribution network into Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania starting December 1st.
"This is the next logical step," says Petri Lehmuskoski, CEO of Pan Vision Distribution, "as most of our suppliers in Nordic also need a stable partner with a gaming focus in the Baltic's. They know that they can expect a high level of service from PAN Vision, and we are already familiar with their portfolio and business models. This will of course lay the ground for a smooth cooperation without adding too much overhead for either party."
The Regional Manager in the area will be Andrius Kubiliunas, based in Lithuania, who just joined the company after several years at the IT distributor GNT, where he has had a similar position.
Latvia will be led by Key Account Manager Janis Gailums, who joins PAN Vision from Samsung Baltic.
PAN Vision started its Baltic expansion in May in Estonia, led by Key Account Manager Juri Strekalov in Tallinn.
"Andrius and Janis are two great new recruitments for us," says Business Development Director Egil Strunke, responsible for the expansion in the Baltic's, "with their backgrounds they bring both retail and gaming knowledge to our new operation. We are a well known name in the Nordic region, but we now need to establish the same credibility in the Baltic's, and these hires will help us to speed up that process. The Baltic market is widely different from the Nordic one both in product mix and retail structure, and our learning's so far in Estonia have been very valuable," says Strunke.
Marko Pulkkinen, Marketing Director for PAN Vision Finland says: "We now have a very strong team and are lifting off the ground, targeting exclusive partnerships with major vendors, as well as taking initial contact with key retailers. We have an aggressive approach and aim to be market leaders in the Baltic's by next Christmas."
