Toronto Ontario, Canada—September 13, 2010—PadWorx Digital Media, Inc., an independent developer of a new category of interactive eBooks for tablet PCs, today announced that it is set to debut a series of eBooks that combine text, gameplay and interactive touch screen technology to create a new digital book experience completely controlled by the reader. The series of interactive eBooks will be released on Apple ^® iPad ^TM in Fall 2010.

Schechter, a two-time Emmy-nominated writer and producer who is well-known for creating Contour, Mariner Software’s award-winning story development software system, founded PadWorx Digital Media in 2010 with his partner, Tod Baudais, a game programmer and the head of software for a feature animation film studio. PadWorx Digital Media is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of tablet PC capabilities in order to create unique ways for readers of all ages to experience both literature and entertainment.

PadWorx Digital Media is set to debut two interactive eBooks for the Apple iPad in 2010: the first title is for teens and adults, and the second title is suitable for families. Titles, pricing and release dates will be announced at a later date.
