P3Zine names the top 20 PlayStation 3 games for 2008
Issue 11 of the free digital magazine for PS3 gamers previews each of the games to watch out for this year.
2008 looks to be the year that PlayStation 3 delivers a knockout number of triple-A titles, which will set new benchmarks for next-gen gaming, but want to know which ones are the ones to watch (and play)? Look no further, because P3Zine has compiled and ranked the best 20 in its 2008 preview issue.
While all the games a dedicated gamer would expect are in the Top 20, including Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran Turismo 5 and even Lego Indiana Jones, the ordering is likely to prove controversial.
"Ranking the most exciting games of 2008 for PlayStation 3 was a tough job," says Editorial Director, Dan Hutchinson. "The quality of titles we're expecting has never been seen before and our decision not to give the top spot to GTA IV is bound to have some gamers up in arms, but for us, the killer game for the PS3 this year is KillZone 2."
Gamers can read the reasons for the rankings, as well as the previews of the full Top 20 for 2008 by downloading the free magazine from the GamerZines website.
P3Zine is an interactive PDF, requiring only Adobe Reader 8 on Windows to run. It is designed specifically for digital distribution and combines print-quality design and editorial values with multimedia content and games videos. Since its launch, coinciding with the launch of the PlayStation 3 console in Europe last year, P3Zine has grown to become an essential read for PS3 gamers.
