OFFICIAL MOBILE GAMES CHART CELEBRATES ONE-YEAR SUCCESS

Friday 4 February 2005/... Today sees the Official ELSPA Mobile Games Chart achieve a milestone - one year of monitoring Java Downloads from the main UK mobile operators.

Michael Rawlinson, deputy director general of ELSPA commented: ""The mobile games chart was introduced to provide an independent source of information, based on reliable data to enable the industry to gauge market performance as well as providing consumers with a method of choosing and tracking the top games.

"One of the things the chart has highlighted is the popularity of more established heritage titles such as Tetris, which has never been out of the top three."

ELSPA has announced the December Mobile Games Java Download Chart® ELSPA, compiled from information supplied by: 3, O2, Orange, T-Mobile, and Vodafone.
