Oculus names Mobile VR Jam 2015 winners
SteamCrew VR takes $200,000 Platinum prize
Virtual reality pioneers Oculus VR has named the 27 winners of the Mobile VR Jam 2015. The winners were chosen from 1000 competing developers to grab a share of $1,000,000 in prizes.
The big winner of the $200,000 Platinum prize was SteamCrew VR from developer Aurelien Kerbeci. It's a "Steampunk themed, arcade cooperative submarine game."
The Mobile VR Jam 2015 was judged by a panel of developers and VR experts from John Carmack and Palmer Luckey from Oculus to Brad Herman of DreamWorks Animation and Laralyn McWilliams of The Workshop Entertainment.
