Oberon Media extends mobile games presence
Casual games specialist acquires Cmate S.A.
Casual games publisher and distributor Oberon Media has announced its expansion into the mobile games market with the acquisition of mobile multiplayer gaming and technology firm, Cmate S.A.

Oberon Media is a publisher and distributor of casual games, offering a customised solution that combines casual game content, merchandising and client specific content features. The company's media solutions have been deployed worldwide in more than a dozen languages and power major websites for downloadable, web-based, multiplayer and console casual gaming. Its publishing arm produces an array of popular casual games, working with independent developers worldwide.
Founded in 2001, Cmate specialises in connected and multiplayer mobile gaming, enabling users to compete in real time over multiple carriers, services and handsets. The company currently operates a portfolio of 60 titles, including traditional parlour games and the connected multiplayer version of the highly popular Who Wants to be a Millionaire?
