NVIDIA TO SHOWCASE INNOVATIVE 3D TECHNOLOGIES AND PRODUCTS AT CES 2005

Line-Up of Cutting-Edge Digital Devices Demonstrates Broad Reach of NVIDIA Technologies, from Mobile Entertainment to Car Info-tainment Systems

LONDON - JANUARY 5TH, 2005 - NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), a worldwide leader in graphics and digital media processors, will showcase a diverse line-up of innovative digital devices powered by NVIDIA® technologies at the 2005 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). CES, the world's premier technology trade show, takes place January 6-9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

From its booth (South Hall #35311), NVIDIA will highlight its 3D graphics and digital media processing technologies through a display of new consumer devices, from wireless handsets, mobile entertainment devices and videogame consoles, to set-top home entertainment systems and high-performance multimedia PCs.

In addition, the Company will also display for the first time a new approach to in-car 3D info-tainment. NVIDIA has worked with a number of partners (UCLA and Pelican Mapping) to build an integrated, innovative device which will allow the user to map, track, communicate and entertain - all from the driver seat of the car.

"Interactive, real time 3D graphics and imaging are playing an increasingly important role in the next generation of consumer electronics devices. An entirely new level of visual quality is enabled by NVIDIA graphics and digital media processors," said David Roman, vice president of corporate marketing at NVIDIA. "Our CES showcase demonstrates how NVIDIA technologies are being used to power a variety of innovative new devices across a wide range of applications."

  • NVIDIA GoForceTM wireless media processors (WMPs), the NVIDIA family of WMPs, broadly adopted by leading cell phone manufacturers.
  • MXM technology, a consistent graphics interface enabling interchangeable graphics cards in notebook PCs;
  • NVIDIA TurboCacheTM technology, a patent-pending approach to system memory management;
  • NVIDIA PureVideoTM technology, an advanced combination of hardware and software that significantly improves the capabilities of the PC as a video playback device;
  • NVIDIA SLITM technology, a revolutionary approach to scalability and increased performance.
