nVidia Geforce 7800GTX Video Card Contest

GameSHOUT and NewEgg.com today announced that they have teamed up to award a few lucky GameSHOUT Radio listeners a new nVidia Geforce 7800GTX video card. The contest is being held in conjunction with the Technology Today program on GameSHOUT Radio and will focus on building a computer.

The Build a Computer contest will be a 3-week series of shows sponsored by NewEgg.com and will start Tuesday night, September 13th with the Build an Economy Gaming Computer. To enter, all listener has to do is to first, Listen to Technology Today starting at 9:30PM EST at www.GameSHOUT.com. All will learn about building a computer and what is needed during the program. Then to enter, the listener will go to www.NewEgg.com and using the NewEgg.com wish list and build their own Economy Computer. Save all of the components to the wish list, and then email that wish list to tech@GameSHOUT.com along with a physical mailing address. As long as the wish list is a complete computer, and the total cost (excluding shipping) is under $2,000 US, that is an entry into this leg of the contest.

The second show in the series will be at 9:03PM EST on Tuesday September 20th, and will focus on building a Dream Gaming Computer. Soulrift and Jadrie, the hosts of the show, will be discussing some of the newest and greatest gaming computer components. Then contestants will go back to www.NewEgg.com and build their Dream Game Computer, and send that wish list into tech@GameSHOUT.com . If the list is complete and under the budget limit of $10,000 US, then the contestant has another entry for the nVidia Geforce 7800GTX video card.

The third Technology Today show in the series will be held on Sept 27th at 9:30PM EST. During this show, the hosts will review the top 5 or so best Economy and Dream Gaming Computers that we received, - your entry could be read on the air and you credited with it - and then GameSHOUT will announce the winners of the two video cards.

Following are the rules of the contest:

1. Each contestant will build a computer - economy or dream computer - at www.NewEgg.com using the sponsor's wish list. The wish list must be a complete computer - case, monitor, keyboard, etc. - and must stay at or under the budget - $2,000 U.S. for the Economy Game Computer and $10,000 U.S. for the Dream Game Computer.

2. The entry email must have not only the complete computer but must also contain the name, physical address, and phone number of the contestant.

3. If unable to email the entire wish list, then the contestant will need to copy the wish list into an HTML EMAIL so all links are visible and all pricing can be verified.

4. Only one entry per household per contest leg. The contestant may enter each leg of the contest but may only enter that drawing once.

5. Only one card will be awarded to one contestant for each leg of the contest. If the same name is drawn in both legs, one entry will be voided and another entry re-drawn.

6. This contest is only available to U.S. Canada, and UK residents...sorry.
