NotActualGameFootage.com

New site unfurled by former Future/Imagine/Dennis chaps.

Cheshire, United Kingdom (20 December 2010) – NotActualGameFootage.com

has launched, with tens of people lining up along the pavement to celebrate, politely clapping and putting up bunting and stuff.

Though the launch has been low-key and modest, the team at NAGF have already interviewed indie development powerhouse The Behemoth, the Leeds Centre for Dante Studies for a critical analysis of EA’s Dante’s Inferno, and broached a slew of brain-bending topics, such as highlighting how dreadfully plain and ordinary Abigail Marston and Alex Curran are.

The NAGF team have previously worked for Future Publishing, Imagine Publishing, Dennis Publishing, Steel Media, Trinity Mirror and others, and are looking to create a unique blend of quirk and investigative journalism to highlight more social parts of the industry that they feel other publications may have missed. John, content editor over at NAGF, is pleased with the launch but urges a note of caution heading into the New Year.

“I’m pleased with the launch of NotActualGameFootage.com, but also feel I have to sound a note of caution, especially with us heading into the New Year,” urged John, content editor over at NAGF. “We’re incredibly excited about the project and at having an outlet to explore new, exciting avenues of games journalism, but the general public have to remember that we’re currently two schmos working horrible nine-to-five day jobs in the dreadful search marketing industry. For every day we miss a post though, we promise that the next will be brimming with quality, and something that makes you press your tongue into the side of your cheek, chew it a bit and really think.”

About NotActualGameFootage.com

Not Actual Game Footage comprises a team who have worked for the biggest titles at Future Publishing, Imagine Publishing, Trinity Mirror, Dennis and more. Cheshire-based, the team feel they can slot into that social gap present between the heavy industry focus of EDGE and the younger target audience of GamesMaster. NotActualGameFootage is predominantly feature-focused and always looking to break world exclusives through their intricate contact list and friends in the gaming universe. Contributions are always listened to, and interested parties can submit their work through the editorial channels found on-site. They are also keen to hear from amateur developers looking to make in big in the world of video game development and those with fresh ideas.
