Nordic Game Conference schedule takes shape
Kojima, Sweeney, Pratchett head up Malmo conference
The Nordic Game Conference has confirmed the majority of its speaker line-up for the 2016 event, which will take place at the usual venue in Malmo between 18-20 May.
Headliners for the three-day conference include Hideo Kojima, Tim Sweeney, Rhianna Pratchett, Blizzard senior cinematic artist David Luong and Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt senior game designer Matthew Steinke. Over the course of the conference, more than 100 speakers will conduct over 90 presentations and a special investment day will open the show on May 18.
"We are extremely proud of the program this year," says program director Jacob Riis. "It's always a real challenge to find the right balance between inspiration and knowledge, the present and the future, and at the same time cater to as many aspects of game development as possible. But it feels like we're getting closer than ever this year.
"Response to this year's speaker announcements has been fantastic, with NG16 registration at an all-time high, but we still have several surprises to reveal over the coming weeks, so stay tuned!"
Tickets for the show and further details of the events on offer are available from the NG16 website. GamesIndustry.biz is a media partner for the show and as such will be attending at the organisers' expense to report the latest news and grab the key interviews.
