Nominations now open for the eSports Industry Awards 2017
New categories and judging panel revealed
The eSports Industry Awards has opened nominations for the first group of categories.
In a Twitch announcement yesterday, the even organisers - featuring a number of names from the world of eSports - revealed the list of categories, including some new prizes.
Nominations are open now, with the first 50 to be entered into a raffle to win two tickets to the awards on November 13th, alongside London accommodation and a year's pass to NowTV (which is sponsoring the event).
The first set of categories are:
Esports Journalist Of The Year
Esports Photographer Of The Year
Esports Converage Website Of The Year
Esports Hardware Provider Of The Year
Esports Breakthrough Game Of TheYear
Esports Commercial Partner Of The Year
Streaming Platform Of The Year
Esports Publisher Of The year
Streamer Of The Year
Esports Game Of The Year
Esports Videographer Of The year
Those categories are calling for nominations now, with nominations for the next set of categories set for June. Those categories are:
UK Esports Player Of The Year
Esports Rookie Of The Year (PC)
Esports Rookie Of The Year (Console)
Esports Live Event Of The Year
Esports Team Of The Year
Console Player Of The Year
PC Player Of The Year
Esports Personality Of The Year
Esports Play Of The Year
Esports Unsung Hero Of The Year
Judges for this year's event includes Paul Chaloner, Chris Mead, Chris Dring, Christopher Myles, Chris Thursten, Calvin Robinson, Alan Brice, Philippa Ware, Michael O'Dell, David Turner and Duncan Shields.
