Nintendo E3 2014: Watch the live stream here
The house that Mario built kicks off day two of E3 week - will we finally see a new Wii U Zelda game?
While Monday at E3 was filled to the brim with press conferences (Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft and Sony), there's no sharing the spotlight for Nintendo. Officially, Nintendo isn't calling its streaming video a press conference, and indeed the company isn't booking a special venue or theater the way that Microsoft and Sony did, but make no mistake - this remains Nintendo's chance to show the world what it has in store for the months ahead and why consumers should perhaps have some renewed interest in the struggling Wii U platform.
Clearly, some fans are already regaining interest in Nintendo as the new Mario Kart 8 is off to a red hot start, selling 1.2 million copies in its first weekend. But one game can't carry a system, and while we all know Smash Bros is coming, Nintendo needs to do its best to ensure its customers that a steadier flow of top quality content is on its way.
A rumor has been circulating for days about a game called Mario Maker, so it'll be interesting to see if that proves true. And needless to say, fans are dying to get a glimpse of an all-new Zelda. Tune in and watch it with us live at 9:00 AM Pacific time. You can view the live stream below courtesy of Twitch.
