Virtual world to explore time travel at the DEMO Spring 2011 conference.

Palm Desert, CA & New York, February 28, 2011 – Free-to-play virtual world Next Island (NextIsland.com), today announced that it will be presenting at the DEMO Spring 2011 conference, which began today  in Palm Desert, California.

The focus of the DEMO presentation will be on Next Island's huge growth potential, current traction in the marketplace, real cash in-game economy and the depth of gameplay and story which draws gamers to the platform.

A new Ancient Greece destination allows player to explore a new realm with their existing avatars. "The release of time travel offers something for everyone. Avatars can work cooperatively to solve time travel quests or work to corner the virtual economy and earn real cash,” said David Post, Founder, Next Island. “Players will be amazed when they see the Parthenon, Mount Olympus and other locations."

Throughout the Next Island world, avatars can go on quests, craft virtual items, set up shops, hunt, swim, and explore. Players can visit music venues like Club Neverdie, take in the comedy at Carolines, audition for the upcoming virtual reality show Avatarette, and new content is constantly being added.
