Newly formed Game IN hires first director
Mark Lavigne aboard as operational director for European alliance
Game IN, a new European games industry alliance based in Belgium and Northern France, has appointed Mark Lavigne as its first operational director.
The organisation, formed of twenty gaming companies from the region, including BigBen Interactive and Ankama, aims to improve the local development environment by pooling resources, knowledge and skills - as well as organising events.
"We are centred in one of the most active regions in France for games, especially in terms of revenues and new business opportunities. Our potential of growth needs to be encouraged, showcased, and confirmed through a non-profit structure gathering games professionals in the Euro region. We want to be ambitious to build up for our industry's future," Game IN president Benoit Clerc announced.
More details on the activities of Game IN are available from the company's website.
