Wii and DSi XL bundles to mark 25 years of plumbing.
Limited edition red New Super Mario Bros. Wii Pack and New Super Mario Bros. Nintendo DSi XL Special Edition Pack launching soon
Mario Bros. has been with us for 25 fun-filled years and, to celebrate, Nintendo is unveiling two, limited edition red bundles.
First up is the New Super Mario Bros. Nintendo DSi XL Special Edition Pack available across Europe from 22nd October 2010 which includes a red Nintendo DSi XL branded with character icons and a copy of New Super Mario Bros.
On 29th October 2010 the New Super Mario Bros. Wii Pack will launch across Europe including a red Wii, a red Wii Remote Plus, a red Nunchuk and three games. As well as New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Wii Sports, the bundle will also include the original edition of Donkey Kong pre-installed on the Wii, in homage to Mario’s first ever appearance.
In the quarter of a century since game designer Shigeru Miyamoto’s team put the finishing touches to his first major adventure, Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Mario has become one of the most globally recognised characters in the world of entertainment.
The Super Mario Bros. series is the best-selling video game series of all time, with more than 240 million units sold globally. New Super Mario Bros. Wii allows up to four players to experience an action-packed Mario platform game on Wii simultaneously for the first time.
And in New Super Mario Bros. for Nintendo DS you will control Mario through eight worlds and a total of 80 levels, battling the evil Bowser to rescue Princess Peach.
Join Mario’s 25th Anniversary celebration in style, with New Super Mario Bros. Nintendo DSi XL Special Edition Pack launching across Europe on 22nd October 2010 and the New Super Mario Bros. Wii Pack available in Europe from 29th October 2010.
