New Media Relations Manager for Future Publishing
Will Guyatt appointed as communications team expands
19/01/05 - Future Publishing is pleased to announce the appointment of Will Guyatt as Media Relations Manager.
Following stints with the BBC and the Meningitis Trust Will joined Future last summer on a temporary basis as maternity cover. He quickly established himself at the company, working on numerous projects and developments across Future's varied portfolio and has successfully used his contacts and press office experience to secure coverage over a wide range of target media - including national newspapers, tv and radio.
With a brief to increase Future's press coverage further, Guyatt will split his time between Future's offices in Bath and London and will also be responsible for a new Communications Executive, currently sought by the company for the communications team.
Commenting on Will's appointment, Head of Group Communications, Terri Davey said:
"I'm delighted that Will is staying with Future. He has the perfect blend of skill and enthusiasm that we need to deal with the busy year ahead that Future is looking forward to in terms of magazine launches and potential acquisitions. Since joining the company last summer he has quickly got to grips with our business bringing a wide range of new contacts to Future. I know he'll relish the chance of being able to make the position his own."
