New Features Announced for Alien Hominid
Not content with bringing the most originally styled game you’ll see this year to European gamers, ZOO Digital would like to announce some of the new game features you can expect in the forthcoming Alien Hominid for PlayStation®2 and Xbox®.
Mini-Games
The addictive PDA puzzle mini-game is now almost as well known as the main game itself and alongside the level editor will be included 25 of the best fan built levels from the US. A brand new 2-4 player button basher called 'All You Can Eat' and featuring the Fat Kid will be exclusive to Europe.
Déjà Vu?
A major new replay function will allow you to rewind the level you've just completed and jump back in at any point. Show off your style or hop back in before you screwed up and wasted that life last time. It's not an easy way out though; you still have to complete the level before hitting the replay button!
Xbox LiveTM
The Xbox version will feature Xbox Live functionality. Including the ability to download additional levels for the PDA mini-game and check your ranking against other players on loads of different stats such as quickest time through the game, number of kills, buildings destroyed and number of head bites!
Scheduled for release on May 27 Alien Hominid is a fast-paced 2D side scroller where players must run, jump and shoot their way across the globe in pursuit of the alien's coveted UFO. The artwork is completely hand-drawn and hand-animated by cult artist Dan Paladin and comes with 16 levels complete with mini and main-bosses.
