New event IGC East to focus on indie development
38 Studios, Red Storm and Fire Hose Games confirmed for Boston event
Organisers have unveiled the Independent Game Conference East, a new two day event, taking place over May 7-8 at Northeastern University in Boston.
The event has already lined up a number of business and marketing sessions, with talks by Aaron Murray from Tandem Games, Brett Close of 38 Studios and Sue Bohle, from the Bohle Company.
A networking panel will also take place, featuring Darius Kazemi from Orbus Gameworks, Scott Macmillian of Macguffin Games, and Sam Houston from gamerDNA.com.
The event's technical track will see talks by Eitan Glinert and Ethan Fenn of Fire Hose Games, Judy Tyrer of Red Storm Entertainment and Philip Tan, Singapore-MIT GAMBIT Game Lab, among others.
