New CEO to be unveiled at TIGA Awards taking place on 30th January 2008
London, England, 24th January 2008: TIGA, The Independent Game Developers Association, today announced that they will unveil their new CEO at the prestigious annual 2007 awards ceremony which takes at the Haymarket Hotel in London on 30th January 2008.
The new CEO is set to replace Fred Hasson who announced his departure from the role last year and who remained in the position in order to spearhead the recruitment of his replacement.
Speaking about the appointment, Hasson said, "'I'm delighted to reveal that we will be introducing TIGA's new CEO at the Annual Dinner and Awards on Wednesday 30th January. I know that members will want to meet the man who takes over from me in March. I am confident that he will take TIGA to the next stage of its development and it's really important that members provide the same support that I enjoyed over the last seven years.'
The TIGA awards take place at the Haymarket Hotel, London on the 30th January 2008, the 2007 TIGA awards were voted on by TIGA members. Voting is now closed, TIGA would like to congratulate all the finalists and wish them well for the night.
