NERF SWITCH SHOT EX-3
Zapper substitute complete with secret-unveiling "Red Reveal".
For Immediate Release: October 7, 2009
LOS ANGELES – Feel like a kid again with the latest NERF™ toy blaster. The new NERF SWITCH SHOT EX-3 with Red Reveal for the Wii from Performance Design Products® LLC ("PDP") provides hours of fun and action for gamers.
The NERF SWITCH SHOT EX-3 offers gamers three fun ways to play:
1. Install your Wii remote in the SWITCH SHOT EX-3 and you can play any Wii zapper supported video game.
2. Slide on the Red Reveal to play the new NERF "N-Strike" Elite Wii video game from Electronic Arts. The Red Reveal is a transparent red panel that attaches to the blaster that decodes hidden clues in the game. NERF "N-Strike" Elite is a two-player game that delivers a blend of covert operation elements with over-the-top blasting missions. The game comes with a blaster, and gamers can up the action by adding a NERF blaster from PDP.
3. And lastly, launch Sonic Micro Darts with the dart launcher attachment.

"Working with the NERF brand makes it easy to develop fun, innovative and exciting products for the video game aisle," said John Moore, senior vice president of marketing for California-based PDP. "PDP adds another dimension to the popular blasters to include features that gamers want, and the NERF SWITCH SHOT EX-3 is no exception - it really is the best blaster on the market for gamers."
The NERF SWITCH SHOT EX-3 is an official Nintendo-licensed product and was produced in cooperation with Electronic Arts. The blaster is fully compatible with the Wii nunchuk, and has an approximate retail price of $19.99.
Earlier this year PDP and Hasbro, Inc. signed a multi-year, international license agreement allowing PDP to create a new line of video gaming hardware accessories using Hasbro properties. PDP's NERF line includes the Sport Pack, Racing Wheel and Dual Play Swords for the Wii; armor for the Nintendo DS and PSP; and PS2 controllers.
PDP enjoyed a big year in 2008, with increased sales year over year compared with 2007. A significant part of that growth came from the successful launches of accessories using the NERF and LITTLEST PET SHOP™ brands.
